All my life the Sea has been a source of peace, reflection, fascination, and endless inspiration. I have spent countless hours on or beside it in the quiet meditations of beach combing or listening to the movement of the water.

I lose hours wandering the beach finding the things that must be picked up & taken back home or to the studio…those hours translate into drawers & buckets full of gorgeous shells, bits of old pottery, dried out sea weeds & rusty treasures that call out to be seen and to be useful. In my studio those shells & rusty bits feature in my sculpture and as unique texturing tools on my pots.

Through form, surface treatment & glazing, my sculptural & functional work reflect my favorite qualities of the sea, as well as my life-long enchantment with it.

Come see more work and keep up to date with what is going on in the studio on FaceBook or Instagram
